Because trauma lives in your body, not your thoughts. All that knowledge is important, but healing happens when we help your nervous system process what your mind already understands. That's why body-based approaches work where talk therapy alone (though very helpful and necessary) might plateau.

Nope. Many of the approaches I use don't require detailed storytelling. We can work with body sensations, images, or other methods that don't retraumatize you. You're in control of how much you share.

First off, you're not damaged - you're having normal responses to abnormal experiences. I work with people who feel "too far gone" all the time. We'll build your capacity slowly, and I promise we won't go deeper than your system can handle.
